What are you willing to live for? Die for?

RESOLVE: That's what the defenders
of freedom are looking for

What are you willing to do, to endure, for freedom to flourish, to last as a legacy for your children, your grand children? Another question: what is freedom? Do you know? Is it license to do what ever you want? Or is it something more? Something perhaps even deeply spiritual or transcendent?
From the law and the prophets, we learn that where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. And the apostles doctrine is that the perfect law of liberty is given by grace from God, a gift paid for by the blood of Christ at Calvary.
Ron Paul has observed that the only actual freedom is individual liberty.
The law, prophets and apostles agree. For it is individual faith that defines true belief.
Thomas Jefferson observed that freedom was worth the extreme oath, to swear upon the altar of God Almighty his absolute allegiance against every form of tyranny that exalts itself over the mind of man.
Resolve.
It has defined the history of our nation, the picture given of a tree of liberty. Wasn't it nourished by the blood of patriots?
Do you have that level of RESOLVE?

Answering critics of traditional (actual) marriage:

Traditional marriage is as traditional marriage does, and has done for hundreds of years, reaching back thousands of years.

For us in America, traditional marriage is defined from the rise of the western ideals that stem from remnant Roman social thought plus dark-age Roman Catholic cultural base that then entered into a discussion from enlightenment and Protestant reformation sources - the impact made a homogeneity centered on the nuclear family as paramount, and marriage as that between a man and a woman given in the context of responsible community witness as well as fidelity, fealty and love. This was seen as the age or covenant of grace improvement by God's providence over the law - the law that is ripped terribly out of context by the "upworthy.com" article, by the way.

Take first the kinsman redeemer law. It is illustrated in context with the book of Ruth. In the time of Ruth, having a husband was very important for a woman's well being. Today, where economies are more - well - basic, females are cheapened, often female children are discarded, killed, because the need for the family in their generations and for their survival is for males to grow up and take on the rigors of physical work. In the context of an agrarian society, without industry and automation to provide productivity in place of physical labor, the priority was to provide for women and shelter their value against the downward momentum toward discarding or marginalizing their basic interest needs.

The situation of forcible sex, a type of rape, is also taken in the context of an agrarian community in the country where a father is providing for his daughter: it is absolutely not the same as violent stranger rape today - not the same thing as a violent attack whereby a sexual union is not even primarily a part of the attack - there are other provisions in the law regarding the physical wounding of victims. (Read the full chapter, other chapters, as if you actually cared about what the Bible says other than to attack its reputation) Then also notice that it is the raping male who is by law required to "marry" the victim - again, in the community of that time, with a known person who would be tasked to provide for her because he defiled her and destroyed her prospects for gaining a husband after that is done and known. The ongoing marriage would be established and watched in that community, with the victim's interests again a priority.

It is about how things were done in that very different time and culture, with the situation of a mediatorial theocracy delivering the messianic line for the world to be blessed that the laws were placed. Then it is progressive revelation and additional dispensations that lead to the fullness of time where Christ is given, his sinless life and vicarious death on the cross to pay the penalty of sin is provided, then the resurrection of Christ from death that proves he is the fulfillment of the law. If you wanted to search the scriptures with a mind to receive with understanding the testimony of the law and the prophets, then your motivation would guide you to all truth. Blessings.

Intelligent design rules!!!

  • The scientific community punishes those who theorize and study possible observations regarding intelligent design: this is a means of protecting a religious orthodoxy, not science. This is why they have absolutely no credibility, they police their story.

  • The fact is, as evolution theory religionists, they disavow observation and experimentation of anything other than matter and energy - with acts of intelligent, willful creation and communication happening billions and billions of times every day, all around them, even inevitably involving them.
  • They dismiss out of hand, without the slightest shred of reasonable cause, the hypothesis that intelligent expression, whether of creativity or communication, is absolutely impossible without a willfully creative, communicating source - the hypothesis that the churning of matter and energy could not in all eternity, given all the gigabillions-squared opportunities every second to do so, ever result in will, creativity or communication.

  • The presupposition that matter and energy are alone of consequence in the issue of origins presupposes the conclusion that evolution alone is the correct theory of origins.
  • (NO INTELLIGENCE ALLOWED)

Ron Paul brought out the best of us in Michigan

Today Ron Paul brought out the best of
our fellow patriots voting in Michigan.

Today the good news in Michigan is more than 100,000 voters came out and cast ballots for a true constitutionalist leader: there is integrity and consistency in American politics today - and it is a slowly growing number who know: we have a good set of laws laid out by our founding fathers - we have a sound strategy for many diverse people to live together in community enjoying the blessings of prosperity.

It is all about individual liberty, free enterprise, protecting our property rights and the opportunity to excel, and engage in productivity without liberal welfare programs - save money, and we'll live more secure with our employment capabilities focused on providing four our own families.

We can bravely refrain from invading foreign countries that are not waging war against us, and engage in diplomacy without the liberal warfare programs - save money and we'll live more secure with our military capabilities focused on protecting our own shores.

The Obama administration: despicable

Absolutely unacceptable duplicity on the grounds of religious and cultural bigotry: the Obama administration is despicable!

1) Bigoted demonstrators and Islamist despots are likely aware of the circumstances regarding the defaced copies of the Koran burned with trash at the U.S. Airbase in Afghanistan: that there would be a requirement for them to be burned, but because the service personnel were not seen as Muslim, their act is seen as desecration.

The defacement occurred by captured insurgents as a means of communicating to insurgents outside bases of capture. The justification of all arts of war under the teachings of jihad allowed the defacement by the insurgents, then jihad takfir allows the misrepresentation of the facts with regard to the circumstances of the Koran burnings.

2) Bigoted leaders of the Obama administration who are making supercilious apologies about the Koran burnings as if the act was a violation, incorrectly done by the U.S. service personnel at the base. But there have been copies of the Bible burned for political reasons as a matter of policy, ordered by the Obama administration.

Let's bear in mind that modern printing and publishing capabilities means that there is no loss to any religious entity in the world because of the burning or other means of destruction of scriptural copy seen as containing sacred messages - the destruction could even be a matter of deleting digital content off a Kindle Fire database.

This is all about respect.

It is seen as disrespectful for U.S. service personnel to conduct the burning of defaced Koran copies at the base. That disrespect is based SOLELY on the bigoted Islamic law's requirement that ceremonious retirement of defaced scripture copy must be administered by Islamic authorities. The defaced Koran copies were required to be burned, by the way.

The Obama administration is willing to throw the respect of our U.S. service men and women, our nation, and through their favoritism toward Muslim religiosity over Christian faith, Christians, under a bus as worthless.

A teenager's response might be serviceable in this situation: to say, "whatever" and "yeah, I see how it is."

The Obama administration has not the slightest semblance of respectability.

A nation free and brave.

We were once upon a time, a nation free and brave.

What can we do to restore our founders' vision? First, I would assert that there is an absolute demarcation we must make against the size and power of government, perhaps especially the government power we might lust for most to get what we want, to prove the point of our resolve and discipline against socialism that now ensnares us.

Here is a for-instance, if some of us like the recent "shock-and-awe" wars we've waged. If we do not respect law and our founder's vision for a constitutional republic on such points as the due process for prosecuting a war: a constitutional declaration by congress, then we don't deserve to change anything.

Our undeclared, illegal wars are a disgrace! We manipulate and want for them out of fear, and so prepare ourselves for craven capitulation before a master. Christian right evangelicals are fighting for this when pushing candidates such as Gingrich, Romney or Santorum: fear mongering liberal WARFARE programs.

"A nation which can prefer disgrace to danger is prepared for a master, and deserves one," said Alexander Hamilton.

We were once upon a time, a nation free and brave. We once did not allow fear mongering over what secrets might be revealed or intelligence compromised if we presented clear reasons openly about foreign threats that might necessitate war.

Note to fellow believers in Christ, if you are a Republican and not aware of how evil the Republican party is for pushing these liberal warfare programs: stop your love affair with the GOP of big government entanglements with foreign affairs, please.

Stop favoring wicked robber-barons like the Bush family just because they have a different label from robber-barons like the Kennedy family. Stop favoring socialism with a Republican Party label over socialism with a Democratic Party label, please.

Oh, and ask God to help you repent of your favoritism of illegal wars: from Vietnam to Iraq, wars whereby we send troops into combat, invade foreign countries, loose tens of thousands of our sons and kill hundreds of thousands of foreigners, but without a constitutional declaration of war by congress. Repent of that.

Every God fearing person out there - please - for the love of GOD! Acknowledge please there is a limitation to what GOVERNMENT can do. Another for-instance: do not worship GOVERNMENT for its power to stop abortions!!! Please! May GOD help you to see THE TRUTH!!!

The government that is powerful enough to stop all potential abortions including in cases of rape or incest is a government that is powerful enough to abort all its undesirables and exterminate every voice for truth that stands against it.

It is the devil's game: seduce Christians into a deal. DON'T DO IT!!! A Doctor can explain the vague nuances between worst case scenarios, for example, the possible fertilization and the future potential for conception if implantation of a fertilized egg takes place after a rape. That's too far into the minute factors for government to have any voice. Keep government small, in the face of such issues, please.

For now, Christians are being seduced into being foot soldiers for big government - for the loss of personal liberty and for the chosen wars that oil-rich robber-barons want to fight to protect their monopolies.

We need to get to the root problem: big government itself. That includes liberal WARFARE programs abroad - and State Department entanglements based on baseless fears - as well as liberal welfare programs and social security entitlements. Go LEAN on your philosophy and attack the ROOT PROBLEM!!!

Prioritize - I know you can do it: with much prayer and seeking God in scripture, I know you can leave your lust for big government.

The strategy of true constitutionalists - who would restore our founder's vision, by the way - is this: have congress vote out Roe by forbidding federal courts from hearing abortion related cases. Put personhood before the states as the product of human conception that is biologically replete and developing. (in other words, pregnancy is found in the first trimester: an implanted, conceived, in-utero person). Then, go with equal protection under law from there.

Acknowledge that there is a limit to the scope of government action. Follow the boundaries set by our constitution. Acknowledge laws against homicide belong at the state level, otherwise you are arming the federal government over the states! Acknowledge you can't go beyond visible developing humanity for personhood: fertilized eggs and chemical theories based on human genomes is out.

We should discuss more how freedom works, and stop the nonsense for the sake of common sense. Please

The evangelical voter guides, and why they can lie:

An open letter to Focus on the Family in response to
their GOP Presidential candidate voter guide:

I disagree with the premise behind several of your questions that in my view make your voter guide a falsehood, something that can not be trusted because YOU lose credibility as your pro-Bush neo - conservative agenda shows.

To be real, you have got to take into consideration Constitutional and limited government values in evaluating people's position on family, pro-life and moral issues. You are not being funny, nor are you serving God or man to deliver questions that amount to a pro-Republican neo - conservative agenda for GOP-led draconian federal powers to give you all you want to win the culture wars through some sort of marshal law enforcement of a slate of family, pro-life and moral issues agenda.

How will you listen? Should I put it in Biblical sounding terms? "Really, I say unto you - truly, truly," - that there are patriotic, God-fearing leaders who have many things to offer to the national debate who disagree with a paramount human life amendment or a federal constitutional amendment on marriage, a religious institution. How close would we be to federally mandated religious statements on other matters? Would evangelical Christians always be at the helm to run a neo - theocracy? Is the government going to enforce all our laws against homicide once the paramount human life amendment is in effect?

Please listen: if to nothing else, just to the fact that it is reasonable for an evangelical Christian to be fully pro-life but follow a strategy of voting through congress an end to the Roe-v-Wade era by a vote to prohibit federal courts to hear matters pertaining to abortion or abortion rights, then working with the states on personhood initiatives to call the question on state laws against homicide.

Am I less pro-life because that is my understanding of the right strategy for protecting in-utero people? I have risked arrest at abortion mills to try to stop abortions. I adopted five as part of my own mission to save some alive for my savior. Am I less pro-life for endorsing Ron Paul, who also is a believer in the shed blood of Jesus Christ for the remission of his personal sins?

You people are wrapped into the politics of serving the Bush family and neo - conservative big government, in my opinion. Can you address THAT? Or am I to assume I am correct in my concerns?

The honor among GOP thieves:

You can't trust any proposed or active national leader who would agree to the invasion a foreign nation without a constitutional declaration of war.
To all the Ron Paul haters: if you are so-called conservative, how, in the name of God Almighty, do you stand by the illegal use of our armed services? You, who say an illegal alien should be deported - you strain at gnats, for that is proportionally what any one illegal alien would be to our 350 million population - would you swallow the camels of illegal foreign wars?
REPENT!!!
THIS is the leading GOP conservative hypocrisy. While indeed illegal aliens should be held accountable for their criminality, it is high treason for a President to invade a foreign country illegally: without a constitutional declaration of war.
I now have a son in the USMC, and one more headed in that direction. I'll be very active to make sure our government does NOT act in violation of the constitution, using the armed services illegally.

That has me pissed off

A campaign photo for a GOP Presidential contender pairs Ron Paul with the President of Iran, as if running mates - and that has me pissed off:

Pairing Ron Paul in a photo with a known tyrant is just more idiotic scoffing against the clearly responsible position that we must obey our constitutional laws and declare wars through congress before invading foreign countries: SCOFFING IS NOT THE SAME THING AS PRESENTING A CREDIBLE ARGUMENT IN A PRINCIPLED DEBATE.
You place a photo like this forward as a reason for supporting your favorite candidate, and wonder why there is a problem with our national discourse? Obviously Ron Paul would have a difficult time with rallying you to a general election push against the Obama Administration incumbency in the fall - but that's up to you.
I oppose liberal WARFARE programs as well as liberal welfare programs - but perhaps you believe the hype for war, that our path to national redemption lies through the streets of Tehran. Who in YOUR family is going to fight this? I have one son in the breech. Soon I'll have two there.
You think I support Ron Paul because Iran President "Ibeenanutjob" would like him? Or it's a joke: scoffing. Because as a lapsed conservative bought off by the shock and awe of cool wars overseas, you WANT more liberal WARFARE programs: obviously not giving a God DAMN about whose sons are going to pay the ultimate price for it.

If there is proof that Iran is on the brink of wielding a nuclear bomb against us, then present that information to the U.S. Congress, and ask for a declaration of war - OTHERWISE, SHUT THE SHIT HOLE UP.

Take this to heart: patriots fight when our cause is JUST - then conquer we must: and this be our motto, IN GOD IS OUR TRUST - note, that's not the same thing as a GOD DAMNED lie to manipulate a wag-the-dog invasion for oil robber barons and to cover up the U.S./West German stockpiling of chemical weapons in Iraq.

Asleep on the right

Republicans are not waking up as they are asleep on the right

Too often Republicans don’t care what commerce is if it is not part of their own bottom line. To far too many of them, the path of national redemption leads by way of a new liberal WARFARE program through the streets of Tehran, and their bosses are the multi-national corporate CEOs who want to keep oil refineries and trade to themselves. They talk a good game on big picture matters but ignore the bits and pieces of compromise that corrupt the whole.
They believe themselves to be such paragon guardians of American virtues, but they compromise those virtues without much thought - like sleepwalking cereal rapists, abusing the constitution when it suits them - not waking up. They are asleep on the right.
America may never awaken to what true progressive values are: individual liberty and free enterprise unfettered by manipulative regulations, steep taxes and international entanglements that trade away our national sovereignty. Republicans don’t care enough about what real money is aside from the false federal reserve notes that poison true commerce. They are ready to compromise about government taking care of everyone's kids while taking ultimate control of them. They have morals completely unworthy of the bits and pieces that compromise gives them at the expense of their integrity and our national treasury.
Patriotic Americans should awaken grateful to God, but we're not. We should be thankful for our kids, ready for our jobs, and to plan our day around improving, empowering and making the most of every circumstance. Instead, there is compromise on core values, and we have forgotten how to listen. We all have been lusting after bits and pieces instead of truth.
As Americans, we have the inalienable right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of property and happiness. But we must awaken to the values that we have taken for granted in the past and have been abandoning for far to long now.

Imagine

Imagine, no utopia, no liberal diatribe,
Imagine no more empire - it's easy if you try . . .

Imagine world-wide competition for investment as the modern world is at last free to develop to it's true potential. Imagine: a repeal of regressive taxes, starting with ending the punishment of capital gains, and then comes the phasing out of the barbaric income tax. Imagine: an astounding infusion of cash as tens of trillions of dollars worth of investment is cut loose on the economy to fund its growth at an incredible and sustained pace that few but the truly visionary would have predicted. Imagine an economy so strong that excise taxes and the sale of federal lands would cover the needs of a greatly reduced federal government. Imagine, not only the full employment of all Americans who wanted to work, but the competition for millions - tens of millions - more through guest worker programs or sheltered indenture contracts. Imagine if we found that Mexico alone could not possibly supply enough labor for us.

This is the future-past for us, for it has happened before on a proportionally dramatic scale - when early generations blazed a path of thrift, productivity and wise investment as the industrial revolution took off and America grew - remember learning something about that? About - when progressive meant the bold and great experiment in personal liberty unfettered by despotic centralized imperial government management: back when European social conservatives said it could never work, it would never last?

Imagine - though socialist Democrats scream for their liberal welfare programs, bleating like drowning sheep about the suffering of the slothful if their subsidies are not funded through the lawless unconstitutional federal entitlements that they have made into their way of life.

Imagine - though pugnacious Republicans scream for their liberal WARFARE programs, bleating like drowning sheep about the nuclear winter that must come upon the world if their invasions are not funded through the lawless unconstitutional federal entanglements that they have made into their way of life.

And with your vote, chose to say that Ron Paul is right for America.

And -
Imagine all the people, creatively producing wealth,
You may say I'm a dreamer. Well, I'm not the only one . . .

Keeping it real with Ron and Rand

We should be keeping it real with Ron and Rand, celebrating individual freedom as we do so

There is this truth that I would hope more and more reasonable people will embrace as the campaign season wears on in America: only one candidate is choice-grade right on the cause for restoring our constitutional government and leading where we need to take our nation moving forward: that candidate is Ron Paul.

Keeping it real with Ron Paul and his campaign - with Senator Rand Paul at his side - means keeping the rule of constitutional law real and vitally important in our national debate. It means keeping it real when we point out the liberal extremes of welfare and warfare programs, social entitlements and foreign entanglements.

It means we never allow a battle campaign in a foreign land in the name of America without a constitutional declaration of war!

It means we look at what our law describes and delineates is the function of federal government, and obey that description and delineation as the limit of federal power!

Keeping it real with Ron and Rand means speaking these truths in love, because they are rarely understood among even many of our friends and loved ones, our confidants and our own family members, let alone our neighbors: this restoration of our constitutionally limited federal government is going to take time. Restoring our founders' vision will take a multitude of patient sufferings at the hands of those who would mock and ridicule us despite the fact that they are sometimes closest to us.

Bottom line: this means sometimes suffering at the hands of our own: for me that might be my people, evangelical Christians.

I believe standing for the truth is one of life's great privileges, not just a right and responsibility. I feel this from the standpoint of being a believer in Christ:

One, I am admonished to do justly, love mercy and to walk humbly with my God, and that I am as an ambassador in a world full of nations that are not yet become the kingdom of our God and of his Christ. I am sent as a lamb among wolves, knowing that God's kingdom is not of this world, therefore I am not to fight by force of arms: the battle is spiritual, wrestling not against flesh and blood.

Two, I know that to "reclaim America for Christ" in the evangelical religious right political sense would be helping create nothing more than another worldly kingdom, worse, a theocracy that has stepped out in front of God's presence in body with an entourage ready to rule the politics of the world: namely Christ arriving in the clouds as lightning is seen from east to west, and all his holy angels with him.

This political cause to "reclaim America for Christ" is instead a theocracy without God! Well, let the Pagan Jihadist Islamic despots do that: look, see how it is their false prophet's calling on them in the unworthy name of Allah, a name dredged from the cesspool of Arab idolatry. Let not God's holy name be so defamed as to be drenched in the blood of oppressed victims!

A theocracy without God, or out in front of God's will, is a theocratic despotism! It is tyranny, folks.

Our founders in America instead raised up a Constitutional Republic where people of all beliefs could be invited to live in community together as citizens - a vehicle for bringing the true wealth of opportunity forward in the world through the free enterprise of an unfettered productive, creative people.

That is where evangelical Christians would be free to tell the good news of great joy: the gospel.

It should not be about finding a federal government agency to curtail gay marriages as illegal. It should be about sharing freely how the fleshly abandonment of the natural use of sex is a form of sexual abuse by the authority of scriptures, and Christ proves the power to conquer this abominable human depravity.

It should not be about a federal ban on abortion. It should be about keeping the laws against taking human life outside the due process of law a state mandate, with the product of human conception that we know to be biologically developing, therefore human and being, included in that equality of protection.

Keep it all real with Ron and Rand. And if you're an evangelical Christian, be thankful - even joyful - to God Almighty for the life in your lungs to do so.

When dad gets home

Some conservatives are whining because a real Constitutionalist is in the race for GOP nominee: these naughty Republicans are acting like misbehaving children who feel the fear of when dad gets home

I acknowledge that there is a reluctance among many post-modern conservatives in America to quickly align themselves with a Ron Paul revolution to restore our Constitutional republic.
What I want to do is take a stab at explaining that reluctance.
These conservatives have been calling for restoring the Constitution's rule of law, wanting judges to interpret the Constitution according to original intent, and not to legislate from the bench.
These conservatives say they want lower spending and fiscal restraint. They say they want a strong military and that social causes like pro-life and true marriage are important to them.
Then an authoritative, Jeffersonian Constitutionalist runs for the Republican Party presidential nomination, and these conservatives are very slow, and somewhat reluctant to join his side.
I compare their difficulty with Ron Paul to children who, after crying for dad to come home, don't like to hear dad tell them that they really will have to clean their room, then they need a session with the family's board of education for their disobedience.
Yes, these conservatives need a spanking for their very liberal interpretations of the constitutional rule of law, their social engineering and manipulations that amount to unconstitutional excess.
There are among these conservatives those who screamed for a fight when the 9-11 attacks happened, and they supported the nation's responses regardless of the fact that they circumvented the rule of law that requires the president to seek a declaration of war through congress.
That rule of law requirement has been forgotten, and complaints about presidents abusing the concept of their war powers have been scoffed at, often by these very same hawkish conservatives.
And they argued for the Patriot Act heedless of the marshal law style despotism coded into it.
On the pro life front, these conservatives want the federal government to end abortions through the jack-booted thuggery of centralized, national enforcement.
Some get angry over the frustrating way that the pro-abortion cause has been manipulated through activist judges, and, as voiced by one of the other presidential nomination candidates, would like for a president to violate his limitations of authority and directly punish judges for their violations of judicial restraint.
You can almost hear the rancorous debate: THEY STARTED IT!!! DID NOT!!! I WANT MY POWER BACK!!! NO, GIVE IT TO ME!!!
Children, and they don't like to be corrected, now do they.
There is a problem in America because of liberal welfare programs. There is also a problem in America because of liberal warfare programs.
There are problems because of spending on social manipulation agendas, and also because of spending on corporate manipulation agendas. TARP to HUD, GATT to NAFTA, and a constellation of other Constitutionally lawless acts, need to be on the table for judgement.
But there are Republican Party conservatives who are ready to join the whiners when its their unconstitutional toys that are up for consequences.
These are the conservatives who need to grow up, and their emotional immaturity shows with their feeling of when dad gets home.

TEA Party Patriot organizers bungle straw poll survey

A straw poll of 23,000 conservative activists on Sunday went awry when organizers messed up the instructions for phone-in participants to follow for choosing who they want for GOP presidential nominee.
The polling of TEA Party Patriots listening to four of the seven lead contenders who participated with the phone-in forum were told that they would first vote for who they thought did the best in providing answers during the questioning period.
Instructions explained that then they would be given a chance to choose who of all the seven remaining top contenders they would support for Republican nominee, regardless of participation in the forum.
It was after the forum that the straw poll began, first with a choice of who listeners liked among the forum participants. Only the question was: who do you support from among these four to be the Republican nominee.
Then the instructions changed further, compounding the problem even more. When the second question came, asking whom of the other three candidates do you support, the rules also changed again: only the three, Ron Paul, John Huntsman and Richard Perry, were included for the choices of the second question.
To make matters worse, respondents were only just then informed that if they chose a candidate from among the first four, during the first question, then their response to the second question would not be counted.
This confusion led many to chose from the four forum participants first, then have no recourse to chose a favorite candidate if their favorite was among the second group.
The fact that the straw poll did not place all candidate choices together in a clear selection process with clear instructions that did not change negates the straw poll's credibility.
It is sad that the whole event was completely bungled. It was advertised as a means of gauging conservative TEA Party support for Republican presidential contenders without media manipulation.
Then with the confusion about the instructions, and how the instructions changed, the result was a bungled survey that can't be trusted.
The TEA Party Patriots website indicated the results of the bungled straw poll would be posted at 8 a.m., Monday - December 19.

Sara Palin, the Wiffle Molly

In the present and despairing political environment of Coke or Pepsi parties, Palin comes across as effervescent like a Diet Shasta.

It really is a shame we can't have someone to step up like a true statesman.

I would take on to a stateswoman, but that 90s shill about "gravitas" comes to mind: I wish Palin could put on a serious sense of grinding visionary leadership and tough minded verbal attribution like Britain's Iron Lady, Margaret Thatcher.

Put them side by side, and the "hockey mom" sounds like she couldn't lead us out of a sideline spat over a bad call, let alone an international crisis. I do believe that in a campaign that nears the stretch for one or one other having the nuclear codes, there won't be a majority of serious voting Americans who would be able to chose Palin over Obama.

Sorry to say, Palin is much more wiffle-molly than Iron Lady.

So I believe she will find some hurdles rising in the primary road ahead - the new dynamics of the actual primaries will make things very tight for her as a real race for a real nomination begins.

Palin's situation is an education for those of us who are issue visionaries - who like some verbal content, but suddenly have to seriously reconsider a person's context and capability.

With Palin, I can see her legacy taking a place near H. Ross Perot the more this nation puts her into the rear view. She would be the wiffle molly and he would be all ears.

Bottom Lines

The documents that provided a foundation for our nation can grade the way for others

The U.S. Constitution and our Declaration of Independence are some of the unbreakable things about our republic.

After being tortured into saying whatever they needed it to say so they could gain the extreme ends of whatever they wanted, this republic's domestic enemies will never be able to take away the legacy of what the Constitution means to the cause of proper self government.

Though maligned and misunderstood, and now largely ignored for its content and contextual meaning, the Declaration of Independence stands gigantic among the keynote statements for the cause of human freedom.

If a day comes that this country is overrun by every conceivable enemy within and without, if the militant power of the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution, our revolution, our republic, is undone, yet will these documents remain unbroken, ready to provide the seeds to grow the next tree of liberty - to flourish for whatever next generation is willing to plant, grow, nurture and protect it.

As astute historians have already pointed out, if the revolution had failed to begin with, or the new republic been wiped out in its infancy, either one of these documents would still be worthy of note among the most preeminent and compelling achievements of the millennium.

Our fight is not to bring meaning to these documents but to bring their meaning to us - our land and people - before it's to late, today, for us.

We still have the militant power to assemble ourselves together, to redress our government, to launch judgment on Election Day and speak convincingly at every opportunity for the restoration of our proper, legal system.

We still have the militant power to expose the lawless federal government agencies, the ones not described and delineated in our Constitution, for the fraudulent corruption and illegitimacy that they are.

We still have our voice, and we still are locked and loaded, powder dry - ready to respond if the ballot box is taken away from us. There are still some patriots in America who know how to fight - AND - who would rather fight than squish.

Gifford statement "Sheer bigotry"

Rep. Gabrielle Giffords of Arizona was shot in the head Saturday when an assailant opened fire outside a grocery store during a meeting with constituents, killing at least five people and wounding up to 18 others in a rampage that rattled the nation.
Among the killed, a 10-year-old girl and a federal judge. Among the wounded, a nine-year-old child barely clinging to life, according to preliminary reports.
President Barack Obama said in his comments that it was time for the nation to come together during a time of grieving. I believe it is not a time to assume a major expression of patriotism by millions of Americans is responsible or in any way connected to this tragedy.
The congresswoman's father, the elderly, 75-year-old Gifford, answered a Post question if she had any enemies, and he said, "Yeah, the whole Tea Party movement."
Very ignorant, emotional - and we have to endure such vile attacks in the heat of the moment. But no one should, when emotions calm, choose to make this into an opportunist shill for political gain.
For instance, looking into Jared Lee Loughner, 22, according to comments attributed to him, gathered by several major news sources, reveals a picture of a self-proclaimed atheist whose ramblings on redefining language and new currencies appears to indicate favoritism of the Articles of Confederation over our Constitutional Republic.
Also, he is flagged as a flag-burning self-proclaimed terrorist, apparently identified in Twitter chatter as a lift-wing radical.
Conclusion: taking a gun and using bullets to advance a flag-burning atheist lunatic's incoherent, apparently left-wing agenda is NOT Tea Party Patriotism.
Snapping to anti-Tea Party Patriot conclusions on a tragedy like this? SHEER BIGOTRY!!!
In the long run, I say, "good luck" to you if you use this to create a political statement of attack against millions of patriotic, community-oriented and genuinely caring Americans.

Modern barbarism is daily exposed

What they did was participate in an armed robbery-beating using a shotgun, by a trio of thugs who brutally threatened and injured two victims.

Two points: one - It does not benefit society to warehouse people for decades on crimes like this.

Two - What these criminals did was temporarily take the sanctity of life from two victims, and the punishment to fit the crime, after a trial mandated to be completed by the end of the week, would be a rigorously applied caning, then several months of solitary confinement, with release on condition of supervised programs plus garnishment of future earnings to pay for the trial, confinement, programs and restitution to the victims.

Penalty for non payment of financial obligations: indentured servitude at a labor facility until paid.
Total time in the system: four months.

Justice, it's what's good for society.

Life in prison? That is the cruel and unusual punishment from the perspective of all history - to throw lives away with no possible redemptive value to society but the cost they place upon it to provide for perpetual incarceration.

How unjust and barbaric is that?
